Sometimes…

Sometimes I find myself thinking constantly, almost like my brain can’t turn off. Days and nights will pass before I sleep, by then I find myself on the verge of insanity. They say lack of sleep will do that to you, but ain’t no one ever seen what goes on in the darkest parts of my mind. The pain of life is supposed to make one stronger but I find the opposite is true. The icey embrace of death is what keeps our bodys warm at least until death decides to seep in under the skin and invade our dreams and life.

Sometimes I think about leaving my life behind and starting a new one elsewhere, only to remember how many people would be all too glad to see me gone. So instead I stick around just to spite them all. Hope they know how to suck it up an take it like a man. In the end though I find myself thinking that no matter what I do or what I say, I will always be trapped here. I can see my grave now, in a plot out here, just waiting.. waiting for my time to come.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live life without the worries that constantly nag at the back of my mind. You know the worries I’m talking about right? Sure ya do, they sit at the back of everyone’s minds. You know the ones that sit in the darkest parts of your mind? It just some people acknowledge them whilst the rest of the world waks around ignorant to them.

Sometimes I hope that more people will want to shed to blindfold of ignorance, but alas thats all it will ever be. A simple hope. Woe to the one whom would dare to hope the world would ever change. Woe to the people for allowing the blindfold of ignorance to fall over their eyes. Woe.. Oh woe to us all…

Sometimes.. Sometimes.. It’s never all the time or only part of the time.. It’s only sometimes.. But for some of the things I have ‘listed’ here that sometimes is becoming all the time.. And all the time means that my poor body will have to pay for all the damage that is going to be done to it.. For sleep is no longer sleep.. It’s a mental prison for me now.. Hoping has come to be a poisonus word upon my tongue.. It does not it exist nor will it ever.. Leaving it all behind so I can try and find solitare silence and peace will never happen.. Guess you can say, I’m a glutton for pain.. Heh.. Oh and those worries at the back of my mind? I’m pretty certain they will rise to the surface.. In the end I will be the death of myself with only the world to blame..

Look to the Stars..

Look to the stars and

You shall see all the hopes and

Dreams of those whom came

Before you,  some nights

they twinkle brightly before

they decide to rain

Across the twilight

Sky, Look to the stars and you

Shall see that they look

Down upon you as

Much as you look upon them,

They light up our nights

With little effort,

They are the ones whom guide us

When we have no way

To tell which way to

Go and our compasses seem

To have left us for

Good, so look to the

Stars and you will see they are

Us and we are them..
